Join Crown Point Ecology Center's Executive Director, Kevin Gross, on a hike through the vast prairie and serene forest after sunset on Friday, August 4th, 2023 from 7:45 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Observe the nature that calls Crown Point home like few have, in low light after dusk. You will be guided through the prairie and forest and discuss how different types of wildlife have evolved to flourish and live most of their lives at night.

Nocturnal wildlife will be out and about-- instead of sight, use your other senses to observe the natural world at night.

We will end our evening beside a crackling campfire where the obligatory marshmallow will be roasted and s'mores can be enjoyed by all.

Adults and children 12+ suggested for this event.
