Crown Point's Summer Farm and Science Camp Scholarship Fund exists so that every child who wants a week on our farm gets one. Feeding chickens. Harvesting vegetables from the ground. Spending five days on 115 acres of USDA-certified organic land — and discovering they belong here.

This is not how most camp scholarships work.
Many camp scholarship programs require a copy of your tax return, recent pay stubs, or a free/reduced lunch verification letter — some explicitly state that an incomplete application "will not be processed." Crown Point's Campership Fund was built the opposite way, on purpose: your family's own account of your situation, and your child's own words, are enough.
And once your child is at camp, they're simply a camper — no different wristband, no separate group, nothing that marks them apart from any other kid there. Nobody at camp, including staff outside the program office, knows who's on a campership and who isn't.
How to apply.
The application is short and simple, and includes three parts.
Basic information about your family
Nothing more than Crown Point needs to process the award.
A few financial questions, answered by selecting from a range
No documentation, tax returns, or pay stubs required.
A brief response from your child
In their own words — why the farm calls to them.
We read every single application ourselves. Everything you share is completely confidential — no other families, no other parents, and no one outside of Crown Point's program staff will ever know you applied or what you shared.
If more than one of your children wants to attend, please submit a separate application for each child — awards are made per camper, not per family.
You'll hear from us within two weeks. If we can offer a campership, you'll receive an award letter and a registration code to use when you enroll. If we can't — because funds run out, not because your family doesn't deserve it — we'll tell you right away and make sure you leave with other options. No family walks away from this page without a next step.
