A neighboring care farm on Ira Road employing people with disabilities, whose own mission — "Empowering All Abilities to Grow Together" — mirrors Crown Point's own All Abilities Fall Festival commitment.
The partnership: Crown Point and Farming with Friends partner directly on the All Abilities Fall Festival — not just a shared value in branding, but a co-hosted event bringing both organizations' communities together.
Stewart's Caring Place
A Fairlawn-based Cancer Wellness Center providing free support groups, counseling, nutrition guidance, and a food pantry for individuals and families touched by cancer, serving Summit, Medina, Stark, Portage, and Wayne counties.
The partnership: Collaborative programs between the two organizations, plus regular produce donations from Crown Point's fields to directly support the families Stewart's serves.
The University of Akron
Buchtel College of Arts and Sciences' Tiered Mentoring Program pairs undergraduate students with faculty mentors and graduate students for multi-year research placements in Biology, Chemistry, and Geoscience — connecting students with local community partners for hands-on research and field experience.

Vulnerable Voices
A refugee farming partnership giving families new to the region direct access to land, not just food assistance.
The partnership: More than 50 refugee families farm 5 of Crown Point's own certified organic acres — growing food for themselves and their communities on land they steward directly.
Central State University
Ohio's only public historically Black university (HBCU), with a land-grant designation and a strong agricultural research program.
The partnership: Crown Point and Central State University submit joint grant applications together, primarily to support and expand the Vulnerable Voices refugee farming program.
Great Lakes Natural Fibers
Led by researcher Monica Bongue-Bartelsman, working with wool producers and farms across the region on natural-fiber applications in agriculture.
The partnership: Crown Point is a research site for a SARE (Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education) grant studying wool mats as an organic-compliant alternative to plastic mulch — part of a small regional cohort of farms testing the material, with compliance documentation supporting Crown Point's own OEFFA organic certification.
