Farm · CSA Program

28 seasons. One farm. The oldest CSA of its kind in Northeast Ohio.

Started in 1998 with 20 families, Crown Point's CSA has run every single year since — through droughts, floods, and everything in between — without ever missing a season. Reserve your share of certified organic produce, harvested at its peak, from the same 115 acres that have grown it since before "farm-to-table" was a phrase.

An honest partnership

What you're actually signing up for.

A CSA share isn't a subscription box — it's a partnership with the farm, and an honest one means saying this plainly: when you reserve a share each winter, you're funding the seeds, the soil amendments, and the season before a single plant is in the ground. That upfront commitment is what lets Crown Point's farmers plan the season with confidence instead of guessing at demand.

In return, you share in the harvest — and, like every farm that's honest with its members, you share a little in nature's unpredictability too. Some weeks bring abundance. A wet spring or an early frost might mean a lighter week for one crop and more of another. Twenty-eight consecutive seasons without missing a single one is Crown Point's track record for managing that risk well — but it's a partnership, not a guarantee, and that's exactly what makes it real.

How that compares nationally

Independent cost analyses of CSA programs consistently find members pay 25–40% less than buying equivalent organic produce at retail, once you account for a typical box's weight and variety. Crown Point's $20–$40/week range (depending on share size) is in line with — and in several cases below — comparable organic CSA programs surveyed around the country.

2026 CSA Program

Certified Organic since 1994 — Farm Fresh Vegetables Every Week

Experience the joy of eating with the seasons through Crown Point’s Certified Organic CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program— one of the longest running CSA programs in Northeast Ohio. Shareholders receive a weekly share of fresh, locally grown produce — harvested at peak flavor by our Farmers.

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a unique connection between you and our farm— a true acknowledgement of where our food comes from. Becoming a CSA shareholder means you buy a share of the farm’s harvest in advance, before seeds have been purchased or plants grown. Your commitment in the winter allows our farmers to purchase the necessary inputs needed to operate for the growing season. In return, you’ll receive a variety of certified organic, freshly harvested, delicious and nutritious produce every week.

This unique connection is not just with a farm itself, but with the land, it’s stewards and our mission to fight hunger in our community.

How it Works

The 2026 Main Season CSA begins on May 27 and runs through October 7, 2026. Reserving your CSA share is easy — reserve online, or mail in your registration and payment.

  1. Select your share type

Choose between our Standard Share of 6-8 items per week, or upgrade to our Large Share of 9-11 items per week. There is also a Micro Share for those who want less produce with 3-5 items per week. Beginning in the fall, we also have a 5-week Fall Share with 5-7 items per week.

  2. Select your pick-up day

Choose to pick-up your CSA share on the farm either Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm or Thursdays from 4pm-7pm. The Fall share can only be picked up on Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm.

  3. Select how you would like to pick-up your CSA share

Choose either Market Style where you can pick out your own produce in our market-style pick-up, or Pre-Packed where you let our Farmers choose your produce and bag it for you. Market style is a favorite among our long-term CSA shareholders!

  4. Keep an eye out for our weekly e-newsletter with CSA pick-up reminders, recipes, storage tips and more (starting the week before the first pick-up).

  5. Pick up and enjoy!

CSA Membership Perks

In addition to eating fresh, certified organic fruits, vegetables and herbs every week grown straight from our farm, CSA shareholders also receive special benefits:

  • Weekly e-newsletter with recipes, produce storage tips, and farm news.

  • Opportunities to get to know your farmers and how your food is grown.

  • Better nutrition for your family.

  • End of season potluck.

  • A 10% discount on all our produce at our Farm Stand, and Farmers’ Markets.

  • Free pick-your-own access to fresh flowers, fruits, and produce.
