Located just a short drive outside the vibrant community of Akron, Ohio, Crown Point Ecology Center's beautiful surroundings in Bath Township create the feeling of a private rural destination. Our dedicated staff makes every effort to provide a timeless and elegant wedding positioned against the backdrop of our historic red Century Barn (circa: 1910). Crown Point’s 115-acre property nestled in the Bath countryside transports guests back to an earlier time while still providing access to all of life's modern amenities.
Weddings at Crown Point range from casual afternoon events in sun dresses and khakis, to formal sit-down affairs with long gowns and tuxedos. Ample parking is available and guests are welcome to explore the property – meadows, woods, wetlands and perennial gardens. Accomodations are also available in our main farm house for the bride, groom and bridal party to handle all the pre-wedding details.
