Slow down. Observe closely. Watch the land change all year.
Seasons on the Land is a monthly guided walk inviting participants to slow down, observe closely, and experience the land as it changes through the year — a gentle, immersive way to connect with Crown Point's fields, gardens, woods, and water.
2026 walk dates.
Every walk runs 10:00–11:30 AM.
What you'll experience.
A Guided, Unhurried Pace
Not a hike to finish, but a walk to notice things on — led by Crown Point staff who point out what's actually changing, month to month.
The Full Range of the Land
Fields, gardens, woods, and water all in a single morning — the same diversity of habitat the trails offer, with someone guiding your attention.
A Different Walk Every Time
Come in April and come again in October — the same path looks, sounds, and feels like a different place entirely.
Log What You See
Bring a phone or camera and add your sightings to Crown Point's own iNaturalist biodiversity survey — a real, ongoing record built in part by walks like this one.
Free to attend, every walk, all season.
