The experience

A cozy November morning.

Wild Morning: Field + Fire is Crown Point's first family open house — a slow, cozy November morning built around good food, warm fire, and a little wellness, with nowhere in particular you have to be.

It's the kind of morning you'd usually have to choose between — a wellness retreat or a harvest festival — except here you don't have to pick.

Arrive whenever suits your family, pick up a chef-made breakfast sandwich and a hot cider, and spend your morning moving between the hayride, the bonfire, the animals, and a nature-making table at your own pace. It's intentionally small and unhurried — a cozy morning, not a full-scale production.

What you'll find

Morning highlights.

Breakfast
Chef-Made Breakfast

A hand-held sourdough breakfast sandwich from Chef Kaitlyn, with a parfait option for dietary needs and a simpler version for kids — alongside coffee, hot cider, and hot chocolate.

Bonfire
Hayride & Bonfire

A ride on Crown Point's tractor and wagon, plus a bonfire with live music, cider & donuts, and s'mores.

Scavenger
Nature-Making & Scavenger Hunt

A pinecone bird feeder craft table and a self-guided farm scavenger hunt to explore the animals and grounds.

Sound Bath
Sound Bath & Family Movement

Short, come-as-you-are sessions with board member Katie Wojno — playful movement for kids and a sound bath the whole family can share.

Your pace

A morning that moves at your pace.

Families arrive on a rolling basis, eat with their hands, and wander in and out of activities as they choose across the 9:00–11:30 window.

Good to know

A few helpful notes.

What should we wear?
Dress for the outdoors. November mornings at Crown Point run cool, and most of the event happens outside around the animals, the bonfire, and the hayride.
Can we arrive anytime?
Yes — your ticket covers the whole window. Come for 30 minutes or stay for all 2.5 hours.
How do the wellness sessions work?
Sound bath and family movement run in a few short sessions through the morning. Join whichever one overlaps your visit.
Are there dietary options?
Ask about the parfait option in place of the breakfast sandwich if you have dietary needs.
