Open dawn to dusk, almost every day of the year.
Crown Point's grounds and trails are open from dawn to dusk for most of the year — no ticket, no appointment. A few real exceptions apply, and they're worth knowing before you drive out.

When we're closed
Real exceptions, not fine print — worth checking before you make the drive.
Major holidays
Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
Bad weather
Closed when conditions on the farm make it unsafe to walk the trails or grounds — the same land that makes this place worth visiting can also make it genuinely unsafe in a storm.
Private & special events
Some areas may be closed to general visitors during weddings, private rentals, or large public events like Dead at Harvest or Taste of Earth.
How to know before you go
If Crown Point needs to close unexpectedly — for weather or another reason — we'll post it on our website homepage and social media. Check either before you make the drive if conditions look uncertain.
Specific hours by area
General grounds access is dawn to dusk — but a few specific programs run on their own schedule.
Farm Stand

CSA Pickup
Wednesdays or Thursdays, 4–7 PM
Labyrinth & Meditation Garden
Self-guided access
Community Garden Plots

Getting here
That's it — no complicated directions needed. GPS and any standard map app will bring you right to the door.
Get Directions →Crown Point's office is staffed 8 AM – 4 PM. The grounds themselves stay open until dusk, but staff are generally gone by 4 PM — meaning the back half of most days is self-guided, the same way the Farm Stand and the Meditation Garden already work. If you need to reach someone in person, come by before 4.
Come whenever the gate's open.
