Growing Together After Taste of Earth

Because of supporters like you, our 2025 Taste of Earth wasn’t just a fundraiser — it was a night to remember.

Over 300 guests attended the event with laughter, bluegrass music, and the joy of gathering around a seasonal, farm-to-table meal prepared by Chef John Bahas. Even a mischievous pig sneaking a bread roll added to the memories!

Together, we raised the most in Taste of Earth history.

Your generosity doesn’t just keep the farm running — it fuels transformational change:

  • Families across Summit County will have access to fresh, nourishing food through our partnership with the Summit Fresh Mobile Market and the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. One mother told us, “This food means I can finally pack my kids healthy lunches.”

  • Crown Point grown produce is making its way into school lunch trays across the region.

  • With Farming with Friends, we are shaping a more inclusive and equitable future in food and farming.

And now, because of your support, we are preparing to plant something bigger than ever before. Crown Point is expanding from 3.5 acres to 40 acres of regenerative farmland—making us one of the largest educational organic farms in the region. At the heart of this expansion is a 42' x 72' year-round greenhouse and education center.

This space will allow us to:

  • Grow organic produce 12 months a year

  • Supply food banks, school cafeterias, and mobile markets in every season

  • Host hands-on workshops and immersive learning for children, families, and educators

  • Become a year-round hub for food justice, environmental education, and community connection

This greenhouse is more than a structure. It’s a symbol of what’s possible when we invest in people, in good food, and in the promise of the land.

Picture this: A child picking their first tomato, still warm from the vine.

The seeds you planted at Taste of Earth are already sprouting. With your continued partnership, they will flourish—for families, for children, and for the land itself.

One guest summed up the night perfectly: “Tonight gave me hope for the future.” That hope is possible because of you.

Thank you for being part of this community, for standing with us, and for helping us grow what comes next.
